The Story of Saarjärve
You can find two of the biggest stones of Võru County near the forest of Saarjärve Farm. Besides their enormity (they weigh over 100 tonnes each), there's an interesting tale about them as well.
One of the stones is called the Love Stone or Groom Stone and the other Yearning or Bride Stone. Lying on the Love Stone makes boys' love desires come true and lying on the Yearning Stone makes girls' secret desires come true. However, they have to catch a ladybird first and send it on its way to their loved one.
These stones help restore connubial bliss. One is not to remove the moss that has grown onto the stones within thousands of years. Misfortune strikes the ones that do that.
